The Makers: RBW

Not long after award-winning RBW obtained its B-Corporation certification did the brand move from its Brooklyn-based studio to a repurposed factory in Kingston, NY, a state-of-the-art facility posed to usher in the next era of RBW’s thoughtful illumination. We caught up with founders Richardson, Brill and Williams to learn about their collaboration process, design ethos and what’s on the horizon for RBW.

RBW is Now B-Corp Certified

Over a decade since the brand’s founding, RBW’s lighting designs remain both surprising and covetable—and sustainable, too. Striving to become a more environmentally conscious brand, RBW achieved B Corporation certification in 2019, ensuring that the brand would continue holding itself and its designers to the highest standards of social and environmental accountability.
