Brothers Mogens (1901-1987) and Flemming (1902-1984) Lassen were two of Denmark’s most renowned designers and architects. Founded in 2008 and led by Mogens’ son, Søren Lassen, by Lassen brings the brothers' legacy of timeless, functionalist home furniture and décor designs to new generations. Born into an artistic family, Mogens and Flemming forwent traditional education at the Royal Academy, and instead pursued apprenticeships to hone their craft, leading to a lifelong collection of awards and recognition for their unique designs and iconic architecture, some of which can be found in the archives of the Danish National Art Library. In 2023, By Lassen and Menu united under on brand, Audo Copenhagen, a premiere brand for Danish design.
